New public Housing in NYC

People from NYC should sign since we now have a population of over 60,000 homeless, 22,000 of them children or 15,000 families. Shelters are a band aid at best for what is required,namely serious surgery - keeping this analogy. Public housing should be livable and not those 22 story alienating each person from another and harboring vandalism and crime. We need housing that will enhance family life, career bulding and ultimately ownership by the residents.
