The Right to have your Pension Lump Sum on the date of your Retirement Date Stated

For twenty yours I have had a retirement plan that stated what money I should expect to receive on the date of my birthday. When I got to 65 I expected to have the money on that date but found that I couldn't receive it for an unknown period. After much wrangling by myself and my financial adviser (which you have to have by a Government decree if you have over a certain amount of money acrued) I have now got what is due to me.
