Bring down rent a center

I returned a tv i rented a guy with a rent a center shirt and truck took it when i asked if i needed to sign anything he said no and left. Now there harrassing saying we still have it and there inploying scair tactics to get us to pay them. This place didnt have what i wanted everything is used and ive read there stuff has cockroaches in it and theres nothing new there i dont want anyone else to go through this. We only owe 300 but why am i paying for sonething i dont have
