Al Ain University- Cancel the midterms and apply the pass/fail system making it optional.

Given the circumstances we are in, we urge the university to take action as soon as possible just like other universities did like the University of Sharjah, American University of Sharjah and Ajman University. We are faced with assignments every single day, it has been 3 weeks and we already covered 5+ chapters in each course making it 10+ chapters in each course to be covered for the finals. We also have lab reports and school work to submit. The university is still considering midterms which is ridiculous, we should be studying for our finals. There is no time to get all of this done in a couple of weeks. Hundreds of families die or get hospitalized every single day, this could be my family, this could be your family. Our wishes are very simple and do not require 3 weeks to decide: cancel the midterms and apply the pass and fail system (make it optional) like other universities have. By delaying, you are putting thousands of students in distress which is the last thing we need considering what is happening.
