It is a shame that Americans must pay for gasoline at such high prices, while the executives in the oil industry are making astronomical profits each year.
This country has seen enough of the record-breaking profits, soaring gas prices, and greed by the corrupt oil companies. We have waited patiently as Congress has done nothing to combat the prices at the pump. Something should be done now!
Congress should cap and halt gas prices from rising. Oil companies should be held responsible for their greed by reducing gas prices and investing into alternative fuel sources, instead of putting the money from their record-breaking profits into their pockets.
