10th Kingdom Sequel
This petition is for the reinstitution of a sequel to the NBC/Hallmark miniseries of 2000, "The 10th Kingdom".
We all remember the beautiful NBC miniseries, The 10th Kingdom. Its lavishly European settings, the intricately woven story, and of course the amazing attention to detail in the (slightly fractured) fairy tales it presented. The fascination we have all shared in it has not diminished over the years, but grown stronger as we attempt to convince the creators of this masterpiece to embark once again to the Nine Kingdoms for another adventure.
A story has already been submitted, entitled "House of Wolves", and many of those involved in the original (including the author, Simon Moore) have expressed interest. The only issue abating this wondrous creation is the apparent lack of interest on the part of the fans.
As a fan of The 10th Kingdom, I know you will agree that our interest is not lessening, but we need to join together as one strong voice to show the networks how we feel.
I am asking that you sign this petition, to lend your voice to our chorus, and to aleviate the fears of corporate entertainment. Show NBC, Hallmark, Showtime, and all the others who have refused this exceptional project on grounds of ratings, that we ARE interested in recapturing the magic that is "The 10th Kingdom".
