Celebrate adoption on public television

There's been a revolution in American adoption. One-third of us now have someone who was adopted in our family. Many more have friends and neighbors who were adopted.

But even now, the portrayal of adoption in the media is filled with negative stereotypes and images. Audiences are shown "Who's Your Daddy" and told this is the story of adoption. The true story of adoption still needs to be told, with passion, depth, and honesty.

With your help, the Adoption Film Project will air Adoption: An American Revolution, produced by WGBH Boston for national public television. Has adoption touched your life? Share your story with the Adoption Film Project and thank them for sharing real stories—like yours--of how adoption has enhanced thousands of lives. If you do not want your story to be public, please select the anonymous option.
Dear Producers,

Thank you for working to show the real faces of adoption to the American public with the Adoption Film Project. It's about time we share the thousands of beautiful faces of adopted children and their families that are literally changing the face and definition of family in America. I'm pledging my support and looking forward to hearing about the progress of this project. This is my story.
