ISN'T IT TIME AMERICANS START HELPING AMERICANS?

We say we want to end world poverty, hunger and homelessness. While it's wonderful to help other countries shouldn't we attempt to end it in the country that 260 million of us have chosen to live in? America?
Many of us have never even missed a meal. We have no idea what it feels like
to go hungry. The term ‘food insecurity’ is foreign to us. ‘Food
insecurity’ refers to people who are either hungry or at risk of hunger.
Poverty, a lack of shelter, and a lack of proper skills among these people
precede food insecurity. It all starts with being fed. It’s amazing how
people’s lives change when they are no longer hungry and they don’t
have to worry about where their next meal will be coming from. They feel better,
think better, make better decisions, and are more employable. This raises their
chances of becoming self-sufficient.

It's true that we cannot put one child through school nor pay their medical bills for an entire year for the price of a sandwich and soda or one C.D. as we can in other countries. But because of this have we given up on American's their families and children altogether?

We support all 50 states and, at the very least, one organization in each
state regardless of religion, race, gender or age. In the more poverty-stricken
states,
we support additional organizations. We support everyone from our farmers
and our single mothers to our physically disabled, our children and our
elderly.
