The Chapel of the Cross needs to do everything in our power to keep Will Compton as our permanent Rector!

We are tithing Chapel parishioners who are dedicated to having Will Compton as our Rector. We feel that going through a formal search process, which consumes so much time and money that is needed elsewhere, is a monumental waste of both those resources, when we have in our midst one of the finest clergy members in the state of Mississippi and beyond. He has been much sought after by other parishes, as we all know, and this search process could very likely take a turn that will result in injury, hurt or pain for Will and his family, which none of us would like to see happen. Pain, once inflicted, could lead to actions that would take the Comptons away from us forever.
