Thank Governor Wolf for Committing to Cut Carbon Pollution in PA!

Great news! Governor Wolf just closed out 2018 by taking this year's biggest move against the growing dangers of climate change!

As part of a new bipartisan alliance between the governors of nine Northeast and mid-Atlantic states and the mayor of Washington D.C., Governor Wolf has committed to developing a regional, clean transportation system that will put a firm limit on carbon pollution, bring communities together, and promote economic growth here in Pennsylvania and across the nation!

This is HUGE. Following recent national and international reports sounding the alarm that our planet is on the road to a climate catastrophe, Governor Wolf is taking steps to show how our state can pave the way forward to address the central environmental challenge of our time—even if the Trump administration won't.

Join us in sending the governor a quick note of thanks for making this bold commitment to transforming our transportation system for a cleaner, healthier Pennsylvania.

SUBJECT: Thank you for your commitment to reducing carbon pollution in Pennsylvania

Dear Governor Wolf,

Thank you for joining the regional Transportation and Climate Initiative to limit harmful carbon pollution from the transportation sector.

Transportation doesn't stop at the state borders and neither do greenhouse gas emissions. Joining this regional effort is a substantial step toward improving Pennsylvanians' commutes within the state and across the region, whether they walk, bike, drive, or take public transit. You have my continued support on any policy that will reduce carbon pollution and create a modern, clean, and equitable transportation system.

Sincerely,
