In the case of little 5 year old AJ Fruend who has been in the Illinois system since the day he was born now he has been found murdered and buried in a shallow grave at the hands of his parents. After multiple reports from Neighbors, Family, and Friends this young boy was return to a home that has been said to be an unlivable conditions with dog feces and urine as well as an abusive situation resulting in his death. Time and time again we hear of this, and these children who are defenseless are left and the care of these abusive people, with results ending in unfounded allegations. Until we start holding these state employees accountable for neglect to protect a child as well as child endangerment, these types of situations are going to continue to happen. This is what we pay these people to do, and they are failing the children of our state in our country.
