Support Marriage Equality in South Australia!

Following the legalization of same-sex marriage in New Zealand, a ballot has gained steam in South Australia that may finally provide all its constituents with civil rights.
A national initiative was unfortunately struck down by Federal Parliament earlier this year. But Steph Key, South Australia's Labor MP, is countering with a bill for equal marriage on a state-wide scale. This bill should appear before state Parliament within weeks.
Thousands of South Australians have already informed their MPs that they would be willing to cross the Tasman Sea to get married, even though their marriages would not be recognized back home. But they shouldn't have to.
It is high time that Australia joins the 21st century. Sign the petition to support MP Key's bill and marriage equality for all Australians!
Dear Parliament,
I am writing to express my support for Steph Key's civil rights legislation in South Australia.
Opponents like Tony Abbott have encouraged Parliament members not to make a conscience vote, or “free vote.” Abbott rather insists that coalition members stay in line with their party's predetermined values. Should the new ballot arise, I urge your members to cast the vote that they believe to be in line with justice and equality rather than strict party lines.

I urge you to respect the civil rights of all Australians, regardless of their sexuality.
Thank you,
