Prisons are terrible places to be, and there is no evidence showing that punishment brings about good behavior. Petition to the government to abolish prisons and establish gentle guidance institutions instead.
Instead of cold, hard prisons, people who need to be removed from society should be taken to "love and guidance" institutions, where, under gentle watching, the inmates are allowed to visit the outside world. Many people in this society have become too mature in philosophy to accept the idea of jail anymore. There are too many modern ideas out about "psychological guidance" and new age philosophy for us to fall for anything so stupid as the idea that punishment works.
