pass a law that landlords cant check youre credit history or turn you down because youre credit is not perfect

Because there are people or family's trying to find a home most landlords and Realtors do credit checks which effects a person or a family from renting a home its not fair and usually get turned away and landlords won't rent.I feel it should only go by income and past landlords referances. Its effecting my family from finding a home which just because someone may have bad credit does not mean they can't pay there rent on time.maybe more people would find a home if they pass a law where landlords and realtors can no longer go by or do credit checks.
