Fire the Officer Who Assaulted a Baltimore Student

A disturbing video recently broke that shows a Baltimore officer assaulting a student in a school, repeatedly hitting the student in the head, kicking him, and swearing.

The City Schools are investigating the officer, and I believe that firing him is a necessary next step. But this is not an isolated incident. This kind of assault against students in schools must be stopped.

It's why I'm asking the Department of Justice to include the Baltimore City Schools Police in their upcoming accountability measures for the city. And it's why in my first 100 days as mayor I will start the process to change the use-of-force procedures by police across the city.
