We Demand work to be done to save the southern gun emplacement & Mine control huts at Fort Bribie, on Bribie Island Queensland

The Eastern beach of Bribie Island has been eroding over the last few decades & is now threatening to completely destroy part of our Australian history. As the war clouds emerged over Australia During WWII, Fort Bribie was constructed, A host of fortifications stretching 1.25km along the northern end of Bribie Island, these forts were used as part of the Moreton harbor defense, to defend against the threat of Japanese invasion.

If something isn't done to protect the last of these forts still standing now! we will end up losing them to the ocean.

I would like for there to be a seawall built around the southern gun emplacement & the 2 mine control huts, to help defend against erosion. I would also like for there to be a boardwalk built around the southern gun emplacement with more signs & photos of what Bribie was like back during this era some stories of the men that served up there, how did they live? what were there day to day duties?
