Against UK Deportations to Certain Torture and Death

A petition against deportation from the UK of people who face torture and death for being political opponents of their native land's government.

We, the undersigned, request that the British Government's Home Office be instructed by the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom to cease the deportation of people to countries where there is acknowledged human rights abuses - particularly torture prior to the murder of political opponents as in, for example, today's Zimbabwe.  If the Prime Minister feels unable to do so, we request that he put our request to the Commons for their decision on this life and death matter.
