Orange UK Broadband speeds - lies & empty promises

Paying Orange for a connection speed you just aren't receiving?...

Are you tied to a contract that's unfairly weighted in favour of Orange?
Assuming you can actually get a MAC code out of them, will it cost you to leave Orange because you're dissatisfied? And if you've already tried to leave, are you being driven mad by unintelligible indian call handlers?

If you're thinking YES each time then you're one of thousands of customers who've been conned by this dire company.

 We're all promised 'up to Xmb' speeds that in practice mean nothing. We are mis-sold contracts that don't deliver and which contain numerous slippery get out clauses in the fine print. Meanwhile, the rest of the world inexorably surges ahead with hi-speed connection rates that put Britain to shame.

 The government and toothless Ofcom has done nothing about this issue. Consumers need to force Orange to give us what we pay for because they've proved that they don't care about you.

 Don't be intimidated, we customers have the ability to pressurise them into improving their telecoms and broadband services in the UK. We need to force them to be absolutely honest about the real connection speed you'll receive, preferably with penalties if this doesn't happen.
