A Driver Rammed Into 6 Cyclists and Hospitalized 4 Still Has His License!

Rolling coal is slang for modifying one's vehicle -- often in illegal ways -- to make thick black toxic emissions spew from the engine's exhaust system, specifically for the purpose of harassing and harming pedestrians and cyclists. That's what a young driver was reportedly doing in his massive black pickup truck to a group of cyclists in the Houston, Texas area in late September. After successfully harassing one group, he did it to another -- and rammed into 6 of them, putting several in the hospital. Yet somehow, even after hitting 6 people with his verhicle, he was released and has so far not been charged with any wrongdoing.

The cyclists were training for an ironman triathlon when the driver went after them, reportedly rolling coal, making them cough and lose visibility. Then he straight up crashed into 6 of them! It's difficult to assume it was an accident when he was intentionally being disrespectful and putting them in danger. 4 of the 6 cyclists ended up in the hospital! Yet, the driver walked away from the crash with no charges.

Within minutes of the assault on the cyclists, the young driver's parents showed up. Apparently whatever they said to the cops was good enough to compel them to let their son go with zero charges against them. At the very least, this person should not be allowed to drive a car. It's shocking that he has not been charged, but the least we can do is demand he not be allowed behind the wheel for now! Anyone who has obtained a driver's license knows that driving is a privilege, not a right -- one that this person should clearly use.

Sign the petition if you think someone who harassed cyclists and then hit 6 of them and put 4 in the hospital should not be allowed to drive a car!
