Tell L'Oréal: It's time to #BeCrueltyFree!

Leading beauty brand L'Oréal says it "no longer tests its ingredients on animals and no longer tolerates any exception to this rule."

So why does L'Oréal sell its products in China, where animal testing is still a common requirement – and why isn't the company backing any of the legislation aimed at banning this cruelty once and for all?

It’s time for L'Oréal to get off the fence and get behind Humane Society International, The Humane Society of the United States and our #BeCrueltyFree campaign.

Together, we can drive real change for animals worldwide, working to pass tough new laws that would make it illegal to test cosmetic products and ingredients on animals, or to profit from the sale of newly animal tested beauty products.

Send your message to Jean-Paul Agon, L'Oréal chairman and CEO, and urge the company to support the #BeCrueltyFree campaign to ban cosmetic animal testing forever – because they're worth it.
Dear Mr. Agon,

I am writing to urge L'Oréal to get behind tough new laws worldwide to make cosmetic testing on animals a thing of the past. Please join the #BeCrueltyFree campaign, led by Humane Society International and The Humane Society of the United States, to achieve this goal.

Thirty-seven countries have already passed laws to this effect, with more in development. These efforts are supported by nearly two hundred progressive beauty brands.

As the world's largest cosmetics manufacturer, which has already committed to eliminating all animal testing from its product lines and to the development of non-animal test methods, L'Oréal should be standing shoulder to shoulder with #BeCrueltyFree in support of new legal measures to bring a final end to animal testing in the beauty industry worldwide.
