Ban fur farming in China

The treatement of Racoon dogs and foxes in Chinese fur farms is disgusting. These animals are held by their hind legs and their heads smashed on the ground. While still alive, their skin is fully stripped from their bodies and they are then left to die in agony.

Warning: It is very graphic and very disturbing.

Quote from the Peta2.com website:

"China has become the largest fur-exporting nation in the world, accounting for a full 40 percent of total U.S. fur imports in 2004. Three million foxes, raccoons, rabbits, and other animals are raised for fur every year in China, where animals are not protected by a single law. Animals raised for fur in other countries, as well as those caught in steel-jaw traps in the wild, suffer similar agony before and during slaughter. "

Please take the time to sign this petition and encourage others to sign as well.

Our goal is to reach 300,000 signatures. This petition is open for 1 year but we need to stop this slaughter now!

Please sign this petition and help us put an end to the agonising slaughter of innocent animals in Chinese fur farms.

We, the undersigned, join with the global community in condemning the brutal and inhumane practice of fur farming carried out in your country. The racoons, foxes and other animals skinned alive for their fur are complex, emotional, social, and sentient mammals, and we urge you to exercise your authority to end this cruel, callous, and unconscionable practice.
