Dear Everybody, it's time to include disability in advertising and media.

Right now, disability is missing from the picture. In Canada, 22% of the population lives with a disability, however, that number is not reflected in our advertisements, films, and television shows.

It's time for casting directors and companies to stop focusing on cookie cutter images of who can or can't play a role or represent a brand.

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, a leader in social justice in support of kids and youth living with disability, has launched year three of Dear Everybody, a national campaign designed to challenge and help end stigma towards kids and youth with disabilities. This year's campaign aims to create a shift in the media landscape by encouraging brands and companies to start generating inclusive messaging and advertising.

As consumers, each of us has the power to influence media and demand that the images we consume truly represent our society.

Sign the agreement to support brands that include people with disabilities and demand that other brands take steps to do the same.
