Help create meaningful connections and empower everyone in the Autism community with accessible and equitable resources.

The Autism Society of America believes that everyone deserves to live fully. Our vision is to create a world where everyone in the Autism community is connected to the support they need, when they need it.

Healthcare, housing, and employment inequities are seen across disability communities, including Autism, and are exaggerated by social and economic factors. Physical health, mental health, and overall well-being are essential parts to living fully. That is why the Autism Society is addressing these inequities with programs and advocacy at the local, state and federal level with individualized and equitable health/wellness offerings for the Autism community. This includes:

- Vaccine Education Initiative (VEI) - a national program that addresses systemic barriers while promoting vaccine education, confidence, and access.

- Advocacy to reauthorize the Autism CARES Act – the Autism Society advocated for 42 bills nationwide to benefit individuals with Autism, their families, and caregivers, and helped pass key legislation.

- Autism Center for Empowerment, Advocacy and Justice - launching in early 2024 to address inequities faced by Autistic individuals regarding health, safety, education, employment, well-being, the criminal justice system, and other areas.

- Expanded First Responder training - engaging 4,300+ police, fire, and medical personnel on how to safely and effectively interact with individuals who have Autism, which saves lives!

Sign up today and be the connection for members of the Autism community and beyond, to access the inclusive and equitable supports, services, and resources they need to live fully!
