David Gelfound, a current Hardcore Gang Prosecutor in the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, is committed, if elected, to provide a tough yet fair administration of justice in our community.
As a Deputy District Attorney, David Gelfound is responsible for the vertical prosecution of gang-related murders, including the handling of special circumstance murders and those homicides involving gang conspiracies and multiple juries.
David Gelfound has tried cases as a part of the C.L.E.A.R. Program. He has assisted law enforcement in their efforts to target and suppress gang-related crime in the Pacoima and San Fernando areas. David Gelfound has also worked with community leaders and has been successful developing gang prevention programs.
David Gelfound has been endorsed by, among others, over 40 sitting Los Angeles Superior Court Judges, over a dozen Law Enforcement Associations, Congressmen, State Assemblymen, City Councilmen and numerous City Mayors in Los Angeles County.
If elected, David Gelfound is committed to successfully continue the hard work of providing a tough but yet fair administration of justice in an effort to enhance public safety in our community.
