NO PESTICIDES ON MARYLAND MEDICAL CANNABIS

Dear Patients, Caregivers, and Physicians of Maryland,

SENATE BILL 1 is currently in committee, it has passed the house (HB2) already. This bill will allow the Maryland medical cannabis growers to use pesticides while growing Maryland's medicine. This is unconscionable. "Crop Protection Agents" are chemicals. Patients are trying to get away from chemicals, not have their natural and safe alternative sprayed with them.

It is impossible to remove environmental toxins from a cannabis plant once exposed. When you extract the active from cannabis to concentrate it, you have a concentration of cannabinoids, but toxic chemicals also become exponentially more concentrated.

If the growers can't grow, then we need more growers!
