Implement Animal Cruelty Registry & Save Animal Lives in Idaho

The animal cruelty and abuse nationwide is at an all-time high and continually increasing day by day.  Such is the case in Idaho but my goal is to advocate for those defenseless beings without a voice.  In accordance with the Animal Legal Defense Fund, I am working to protect both wild and domestic animals by urging the implementation and enforcement of an animal cruelty registry in Idaho.

The proposed animal cruelty registry would require that any and all criminals of animal abuse, neglect and inhumane treatment be listed with all their information for life.  Such abusers would also be banned from owning, caring for or working with animals for a lifetime as a means of avoiding repeat abuse.  Let’s work together to protect those without a voice and cannot protect themselves.  You can help me on this crucial journey by signing and sharing this petition, adding your own comments and thoughts.

Idaho State Legislators – I strongly urge you to implement and strictly enforce an animal cruelty registry throughout the state that would be similar in stature to that of a sex offenders and child abusers database. Anyone convicted of animal abuse, cruelty and neglect would be required to be registered on this database that would include all of their pertinent and personal information of an animal abuser for life.  Criminals of animal abuse should also have a lifetime ban on owning, caring for or working with animals. This is the only way that these types of crimes will stop. It is crucial that animals gain the voices and protection they deserve, starting state-by-state until it is a database of animal defense on a national level.
