Tell Congress: Protect Our Access to Quality Health Care

Access to patient care could be in jeopardy. The repeal of Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Care Act, is underway — and efforts to replace it may take years.

Changes to Obamacare may initially eliminate the coverage for millions of Americans prior to providing new coverage options. This strategy could also leave in place cuts to hospitals, potentially exposing hospitals to nearly $400 billion in lost funding over a ten-year period. Cuts of this magnitude could impact patients' access to lifesaving care and result in significant job losses.

Sign the petition: Tell Congress to protect hospital funding and patient care in your state.

Policymakers are considering repeal legislation now. Congress must act now to avoid cutting hospital funding and threatening patient care.

Let Congress hear your voice today.
Dear lawmaker,

As Congress moves forward on a path towards repealing and replacing Obamacare it is critical that our communities retain access to high-quality hospital services we need and deserve. Our hospitals not only provide lifesaving care, but they are also key economic engines, providing jobs and security to the entire community.

I am deeply concerned that legislation repealing Obamacare could leave in place devastating and historic cuts to my hospital. We need your help to protect access to care and our local economy.

This means that if legislation is approved that repeals Obamacare it must either replace the coverage losses simultaneously or repeal the Medicare and Medicaid hospital reductions embedded in the law so we ensure our community hospitals have the resources they need to care for my family and my community.

Patient care suffers when hospital funding is cut. If Obamacare is repealed and not replaced at the same time, don't just repeal some parts and leave the part that hurts my hospital, you should restore full funding so my family continues to receive the quality hospital care we rely on.
