Tell Facebook To Stop Suspending The Accounts Of Animal Activists Who Dare Speak Out About Trophy Hunters

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook, says he loves hunting and that animals taste better when you've killed them yourself. ‘Things taste better when you make them yourself,' he said. 'And they taste doubly better when you’ve hunted the animal yourself.’ Zuckerberg said he has been hunting for around four or five years, saying it's a 'good way to feel connected to nature.'

And this love for hunting continues on Facebook by allowing his trophy hunting ‘friends’ to post sickening images of them posing in their typical psychopathic way with their ‘trophies’.
Trophy hunters do not post these pictures to raise awareness. They are merely showing off their success with other hunters and it's an egotistical and dominating affect they share. We are trying to put an end to this type of activity to save these creatures from extinction, and create a whole new world where animal abuse will become a thing of the past.

Facebook, as a major social platform, has a moral obligation but by giving trophy hunters a platform to display their "trophies" they are actively promoting violence and cruelty therefore failing this responsibility completely.

Those "hunters" don't hunt for food, they hunt for pleasure and the need to satisfy their thirst for blood and social media recognition. By offering them this platform, Facebook plays an active role in this violent and cowardly act.

The deaths of those poor creatures serve no justifiable purpose. Apart from causing unnecessary harm and suffering, trophy hunting seriously endangers our environmental balance and because of that many species are now on the verge of extinction. These photos should not be permissible by Facebook.

But another trend is occurring which is very worrying. It appears Facebook are trying to silence animal rights activists by sending them to ‘Facebook Jail’ after posting anti-hunting messages or raising awareness to the despicable antics of trophy hunters etc. By suspending the accounts of people speaking up for wildlife they are effectively promoting trophy hunting whilst censoring anyone who dares oppose it.

Surely this was not why Facebook was started???

If Facebook are willing to continue to allow trophy hunters to share their passion for killing wildlife, some of it very rare, then they should also be willing to allow people who are opposed to such slaughter from voicing their opinion.
