Tell the Trump Administration: Don't restrict access to birth control

Last month, the Trump administration issued new rules that allow employers, health insurance providers, and universities that claim a religious or moral objection to drop coverage for birth control.

Their decision to limit contraceptive coverage robs women of the ability to control their lives and futures. We aren't letting it go unchallenged.

While the new rules went into effect immediately, the Department of Health and Human Services is required to take public comments into consideration until December 5th before making the rules permanent.

The right to birth control is only meaningful if it’s affordable. These new rules are unacceptable, discriminatory, and unconstitutional — and we're working our hardest to block them using every tool we have.

We filed a lawsuit against the Trump administration to stop these rules in court. We worked with members of Congress to introduce a bill that would reverse the rules. And now, we're asking you to urge the administration directly to rethink these harmful policies.

Make your voice heard. Sign the petition and add an official comment to the Department of Health and Human Services opposing the Trump administration's new birth control rules.
All women deserve to have the health care they need, free from discrimination. No employer, health insurance provider, or university should be allowed to use religious or moral beliefs to prevent a woman from planning her future and her family. I urge the Department of Health and Human Services to rescind these rules in their entirety.
