Brooklyn Man Throws Mother's Dog from 5th Storey Apartment - Urgent!

Case. More than a week before the incident, Mr Alan Decosta, 35 told his mother that he was going to decapitate the beloved pet, Gemini, a friendly 10-year-old, pit bull crossbreed, of his 52-year-old mother, Sonia Reyes. Decosta had been living with his mother, Crown Heights, New York Apartment since his wife had left him over 3 years ago. After moving in, his mother said that he spent most of his time smoking marijuana and beat her on numerous occasions. On the day of the incident, Wedneday November 9th, jealous of his mother's love for Gemini, he hit his mother's head and back with the vacumm cleaner, then threw the sleeping 40-pound dog from the window of their 5th floor apartment. Mrs Reyes rushed downstairs, Gemini died in the streets, cradled by the loving arms of the guardian.. Police arrested Decosta and charged him with assaulting his mother. In addition, the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) is expected to bring animal charges against him for Gemini's death. - To the decision maker, Mr Decosta has a history of repeated violence against his mother and regarded as potentially dangerous to others and also the way the premediated and sadistic act of taking a life of an innocent animal. Mr Decosta deserves to be punished to the full extent of the law on the seriousness of his crime.Under New York State law,felony charges of aggravated animal cruelty, carries a penalty of up to 2 years maximum in prison.
