USDA: Close Hollywild Animal Park - A Breeding Zoo With a History of Violations

  • by: Kristina Snyder

Hollywild Animal Park in Wellford, South Carolina is still operating, despite a multitude of violations and recently there has been a fire resulting in the deaths of 27 animals!!! This zoo also breeds animals and allows public interaction and petting of baby tiger cubs and more!

Enough is enough! Currently the USDA is investigating Hollywild Animal Park because of the fire, and previous health and animal welfare violations. Tell the USDA to shut this place down! Animals should not suffer here any longer. It is the USDA's job to enforce the Animal Welfare Act and protect these animals from harm. They need to do their job. The public will not tolerate this acceptance of abuse from the USDA any longer!

This link brings you to an article describing the several violations found at Hollywild. These violations were before the fire. What is the USDA waiting for?

Animals should not suffer at the Hollywild Animal Park in Wellford, South Carolina any longer. It is the USDA's job to enforce the Animal Welfare Act and protect these animals from harm. Given the facility's track record, it's time to shut it down and move their animals to sanctuaries in good standing.
