End of the false! assumption that children are better off with their biological parents, even if that parent is careless abusive or apathetic towards the child

I started this petition because of a little girl who was killed a block away from my house, because her supposed mother who didn't have custody was suppose to be watching her when she brought her to a house party, then when no one was watching the child she picked up a gun that belonged to some one at the party and shot herself...... she died that Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock, that should have never happened, the grandmother who did have custody didn't want her around her mom because she knew what kind of people she hung around with, but some how the mother was still allowed around the child. I'm going to make sure this never happens again, by demanding that the state government makes a law that make it easier for loving and caring people to adopt children as long as they pass criminal and child abuse background checks, and make it more strict for irresponsible adults who don't or shouldn't have custody of children.
