Don't Let Malaria Steal Another Child's Life!

Did you know that Malaria was eradicated in Canada over 50 years ago?

And yet, every year more than 600,000 lives are still lost to malaria around the world, the majority of which are pregnant women and children.

If we've stopped this disease at home, why is it still stealing thousands of lives every single day?

April 25th is World Malaria day - let's make this the year we finally keep this preventable disease from taking any more children's lives!

Insecticide-treated bed nets are the most effective and inexpensive way to prevent the mosquito bites that spread malaria. In fact, since 2007, Spread the Net has protected the lives of some 2.5 million children and pregnant women, delivering close to 563,000 malaria-preventing bed nets to families in Africa.

But without increased support too many children are left needlessly vulnerable to the disease.

ALL children should have a chance to grow up health and reach their full potential.

This World Malaria Day, help keep an easily preventable disease from stealing the lives of children around the world! Add your name today and help us spread the word about the importance of simple, affordable bed nets in the fight against malaria!
