The Great Lakes provide drinking water to more than 40 million people. They give us recreation and beauty. They underpin our regional economy.
In the midst of a pandemic, the lakes are more important than ever. They supply the clean water we drink and wash with in our homes.
But our Great Lakes are at risk. Pollution, invasive species, harmful algal blooms, and failing water infrastructure threaten our water.
Every office on the ballot this election season - from mayors to the President of the United States - will have the opportunity to affect the Great Lakes and clean water.
Stand up for the Great Lakes and clean water. Pledge to vote this election season.
