Equal and free rights is for every American, so why does the LGBTQ community still have to fight for freedom of themselves.

My 10-year-old daughter recently decided that she likes the same sex. As her mother, I am happy she was able to come to me and express who she thinks she is. As an American I am afraid she will be confident in herself but, others will not feel the same way. She can still get bullied and put down and degreded. As Americans in the LGBTQ community, this is still an issue and needs to be worked on.
