Stand up for Rohingya families fleeing violence
Rohingya refugees arrive in Bangladesh telling horrific stories and showing wounds from the violence they faced. Those fortunate to survive the harrowing journey are exhausted, hungry and sick. They urgently need protection and humanitarian assistance.
They walk for days through jungles and mountains, or brave dangerous sea voyages across the Bay of Bengal. In a desperate attempt to keep their children safe, thousands of parents have fled with their families. In some cases, children have made the perilous journey alone.
The Rohingya have been described by the United Nations as "the most persecuted people in the world." Over 647,000 refugees have been forced from their homes in Myanmar since August 2017 when violence erupted as military operations swept through their communities. This crisis is the fastest-growing refugee emergency in the world today.
The UN Refugee Agency has been on the ground providing protection, shelter, healthcare and more since this crisis began. USA for UNHCR is connecting Americans like you to the critical work being done by the UN Refugee Agency to help refugees forced to flee, like the Rohingya families fleeing to Bangladesh.
Show your compassion for those fleeing violence. Sign this petition and stand #WithRefugees. Use your voice to shine a light on the desperate situation unfolding in Bangladesh and the plight of hundred of thousands of Rohingya children and families in need.

As an American, I believe we must help people in their time of greatest need. I believe Rohingya refugees should get the support necessary to rebuild their lives.
I stand with the UN Refugee Agency in its mission to reach everyone in need with lifesaving aid and protection. But without enough support, food and assistance will be reduced or will not reach people driven from their homes.
I stand with the UN Refugee Agency to ensure every refugee child gets an education.
I stand with the UN Refugee Agency to ensure every refugee family has somewhere safe to live.
I stand with the UN Refugee Agency to ensure every refugee can work or learn new skills to make a positive contribution to their community.
I stand #WithRefugees.
