Help more children like Chuchen receive the care they need to thrive.

"This smells like my mama." When Chuchen feels lonely, she holds the coat her mother left to her cheek, or fingers her bracelet made of beads that also once belonged to her mama.

The little girl has lived with her devoted grandparents since she was two. Her parents have to work in factories outside the village in a faraway city. Sadly, Chuchen’s family isn't alone.

In rural China today, more than 9 million children of migrant workers are left behind in the care of grandparents or relatives who are struggling to simply keep them fed. "There is no choice in these villages," says Grandma.

The impact on the children like Chuchen and the communities can be devastating.

This is why the OneSky Model for Children in Villages was launched. Right now, in 46 villages we are offering "family skills" training to parents and grandparents, early learning programs for children from birth to six, and community engagement programs to help re-energize disintegrating rural communities. But we can't do it alone.

Sign and show your support for the OneSky Village program and help us ensure more children like Chuchen receive the care and support they need.
