Improve quality of life for those living with Alzheimer's disease

Please sign our petition urging Congress to pass the Palliative Care and Hospice Education and Training (PCHETA) Act.

Palliative and hospice care – with a focus on managing and easing symptoms, reducing pain and stress, and increasing comfort – can improve both quality of care and quality of life for those with dementia. Although the availability of palliative and hospice care is growing, the need is growing faster – and quality of care remains a concern.

If passed, PCHETA would establish palliative care and hospice workforce training programs, create a national education and awareness campaign to share the benefits of palliative care, and enhance research on improving the delivery of palliative care.

It's critical that members of Congress support this important piece of legislation. Make your voice heard by signing our petition today.
