No Employment of Juveniles During School Hours.

Whereas many children under the age of 18 years of age have part-time jobs,

and whereas many of these children use this as an excuse to be truant from school;

therefore, we the undersigned hereby request that the Los Angeles City Council make it a misdemeanor for anyone to allow children under the age of 18 years of age to work during the hours when school is in session.
