Support for Serena! (The Oak and Furrows Wildlife Rescue)

30 Years ago Serena founded The Oak and Furrows in memory of her daughter, who loved helping injured wildlife with her mum. Following Millie's tragic death Serena worked tirelessly taking in injured wildlife building the Oak and Furrows into a successful and well loved charity.
This week it was announced that Serena (and Katia who had worked along side Serena for 10 years) had been made redundant by the current trustees.
As a member of the community I would like to show my support for this amazing woman, who works through nights and weekends bottle feeding baby animals, who has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience in her field, who has shown nothing but compassion and kindness and taught hundreds of local children how to respect our wildlife.

I would like to know the reasons why the two hardest workers of the sanctuary were chosen for redundancy, leaving the community in shock and uproar, trustees, patrons and vets walking out in support and respect of the founder.

I fear for the centre, now having lost Serena, who IS the Oak and Furrows, and would like a full explanation surrounding this decision.

Please sign this petition showing your support for Serena, Katia and our local wildlife.
