Help W!se build a strong financial future for America's youth

70% of students enter college after high school. Two thirds of them, however, graduate college with significant student loan debt that now exceeds $1.5 trillion. It is a tragedy that the majority of these young borrowers have NEVER had ANY financial education.

How can we expect young people to make informed decisions involving a financial burden such as a college loan, when they don't have the necessary knowledge or skills? They are maturing into adulthood without understanding how to use credit wisely, the value of saving early for retirement, the importance of budgeting, setting financial goals, being banked and much more. It is not surprising, therefore, that, almost two thirds of millennials do not have $1,000 in an emergency fund and a third had overdrawn their bank account in the last year.

This is a moral crisis that continues to threaten the wellbeing of the very people upon whom the future of our country depends.

W!se is addressing this issue. Our programs help high schools across the nation teach personal finance so that students are financially literate when they graduate and are equipped with the knowledge to successfully manage their money and make the important financial decisions that shape their lives.

Through W!se, more than one million young people are now financially literate. Our vision is that EVERY student should graduate high school with financial savvy. We NEED people like you to lend a hand.

Please join us by pledging your support today. Together we can help build a strong financial future for our youth.
