Shine a Light on Foreign Aid Funds - Demand Transparency

  • by: ONE (OLD)
  • recipient: Development Ministers of Italy, Portugal, Austria, and Japan

Aid money should be well spent, and any scope for corruption and inefficiency stamped out.

One of the best ways to do this doesn't cost a thing: transparency. It shines a light in murky places where sometimes-sleepy officials doze in the dark, and corruption can go unnoticed. This way people everywhere can track the flow of precious funds to ensure they are put to the best use possible - vaccinating kids, building roads, and getting children into school.

Join the fight against extreme poverty by helping us stop corruption. Sign our petition to call on the aid donors who are the worst on transparency – Italy, Portugal, Austria, and Japan – to shape up.

Dear development ministers of Italy, Portugal, Austria, and Japan:

Please publish the details of all the aid you give, and push for all other aid donors to publish theirs too.
