Denmark's Only Female Wild Wolf Shot and Killed

One of the first wild wolves to roam free in Denmark in over 200 years has been shot dead, and it's all on film. The female wolf wasn't posing a threat to anyone, she was just roaming. Then someone in a parked car decided to murder her.

Fortunately, two people were able to film the shooting so we know exactly what happened. The wolf was not threatening humans at all, then someone decided to kill her anyway. It's tragic and must be taken seriously as Europe attempts to rebuild their natural wolf population.

Wolves have not been in Denmark since 1813. In 2012, a few male wolves were spotted there. Just last year, a female wolf traveled 500km to join the male wolves and create the first functioning pack in the country in over 200 years. Now a thoughtless and hateful human has sabataged this pack by killing this female wolf.

A 66-year-old man was identified and charged with violating Denmark's hunting act, but that's not enough. He should be charged with animal cruelty for this sick act. Please sign on to demand this man is fully punished for the needless murder of the wolf.
