A man in South Florida is
sounding the alarm on a local mobile pet grooming company, Sassy's Mobile Pet Grooming, and for good reason.
When the man went to pick up his sweet pup, Charlie, he noticed that the poor dog was
"visibly shaking and scared." Not long after, the diligent owner noticed
a massive and gaping wound on Charlie's stomach. The wound was so deep that it prompted an emergency vet visit and a police report.
Sign now to tell Fort Lauderdale authorities: investigate this business FULLY to prevent any future animal abuse! The groomer's response to this owner's questions? That they had "never cut the dog."
But the dog owner insists that he would never bring sweet Charlie to the groomer with such an obviously big wound exposed. Plus, the dog's behavior after the appointment indicates possible abuse.
The owner's description of the wound he found on Charlie is harrowing. The man described Charlie as having a "huge laceration," with the skin "wide open, probably the size of a quarter."
He said that he could "see [the dog's] insides," and noticed burnt flesh from a cauterization -- without his knowledge or consent.
If these accusations are true,
Sassy's Mobile Pet Grooming needs to be shut down immediately. Fort Lauderdale police must take this tip seriously and investigate this grooming business NOW! We cannot allow any other pets to be victimized in the future! Sign the petition if you agree!
