Increase Cow Visibility on Care2.com!
I've been a loyal member of Care2.com since my pasture got hooked up with wi-fi in 2006. Every day, I check back to read the latest tips on decorating my stall with hoofmade straw decorations, take action for other animals and humans in need, and even get updates on important political moovements around the planet. There's a whole world out there beyond my field, and Care2 helps me connect to it!
Here's my problem: though Care2 members clearly care a lot about animals, I've noticed that a lot of the petitions and stories tend to be about -- well, animals who don't look a lot like me. Protecting endangered species (and puppies and kittens!) is important, but cows matter too!
I wouldn't steer you wrong: if you've ever looked into a cow's big brown eyes, you know how capable of love, compassion, and charm we are. It's time the rest of Care2 knew too!
Please sign the petition to increase cow visibility on Care2 -- and that's no bull.
Hi there!
I'm writing to ask you to increase cow visibility on Care2. I notice that not too many of your animal stories feature critters that look like me. I understand. Every time Farmer Joe brings his cat out to the pasture, I remember how cuddly puppies and kittens are, so it's no surprise that Care2 members like them, too!
And I know how important it is to protect endangered species, who are unlucky enough not to have as many members of their families as cows do.
But here's the thing: cows are great, too! I've been ruminating on this for a while, and that's why I'm asking you to increase bovine visibility on Care2.com. Just a few more petitions, Causes stories, or Healthy Living tips about some of the most underappreciated animals on the Internet would udderly make my day.
