Send support to Sebastian as he runs a 5K on one foot to fight cancer

Last year, 16-year-old Sebastian Bonaiuto lost his foot to cancer - but he's not letting that stop him from doing what he loves and changing the world in the process.

In Sebastian's own words:

When I was 14, I was diagnosed with cancer in my left heel bone. I was just about to start my freshman year of high school, but my life completely changed the moment my dad and I were told I had cancer.

I missed my first day of high school and lots of other things that most 14-year-olds get to do, but I refused to let cancer ruin my life and deprive me of my favorite thing: running.

Even after months of treatment, and after the amputation of my left foot, I never lost hope--or my passion for running. But I couldn't have mustered the courage or determination to run with only one leg without my dad, and the doctors, nurses, and staff at Inova Children's Hospital.

Not only has Sebastian fought through cancer, he's now determined to give back and help other kids like him who are facing a fight against cancer.

In June Sebastian will be defying the odds and running Inova's StarKid 5K on just one foot - and we want to show our support for his amazing determination!

Add your name today to send Sebastian a message of support as he heads into the run, and show you're standing with him and kids like him who are fighting for their lives against cancer!
