To request that the SPFL reschedule the fixtures so that Celtic play their first game of the season at home.

The current SPFL champions ALWAYS play their first fixture of the season at home, so that they can unveil the Championship Flag. It's a tradition of the game and should not be changed or overlooked.

The SPFL should reschedule the Week 1 fixture card to allow Celtic to play their first game at home, as normally happens.

We recognise that as first division champions Rangers also have a flag to unfurl, and that Police Scotland will not want two games in the city on the same day. However, this is easily avoided by playing one game on the Saturday and one on the Sunday. If there is a necessity for one game to be played away, we feel the Premiership Champions should have priority and that is the game that should take precedence.
