Congress: Pass a Clean DREAM Act, Protect Young Immigrants!

President Trump recently announced plans to phase out DACA - a lifesaving program for hundreds of thousands of young immigrants.

This deeply cruel move leaves young immigrants across the country hanging in the wind, unsure if they will be kicked out of the only country they have ever known.

And make no mistake, ending DACA is nothing less than a declaration of war on immigrants. It is a war on communities of color. It is yet more proof that Trump unapologetically backs an agenda of white supremacy and will stop at nothing to implement it nationwide.

In the face of Trump's deeply cruel decision, we must organize and move Congress to protect Dreamer's quickly, without turning them into bargaining chips or political pawns. That means passing a clean DREAM act without shoehorning in any additional provisions for further border militarization or additional resources for Trump's deportation machine.

It's time to raise our voices to defend DACA and the young immigrants you rely on it.

Add your name and send a message to your representative today urging them to pass a clean DREAM act - without delay and without destructive and racist riders. It's time to affirm by law what we know to be true: DACA youth are home. This country is their home.
Dear [Representative],

President Trump recently announced plans to phase out DACA - a lifesaving program for hundreds of thousands of young immigrants.

This deeply cruel move leaves young immigrants across the country hanging in the wind, unsure if they will be kicked out of the only country they have ever known.

Congress must now urgently find a real legislative solution to our broken immigration system - not one that uses immigrant youth as bargaining chips for a senseless wall on the southern border.

[Your comment will be added here]

I am calling on you to pass legislation that once and for all affirms by law what we know to be true: DACA youth are home. This country is their home.

Sincerely,

[Your name]
