Question How You Hydrate

Single-use plastic water bottles are a relatively new phenomenon - they exploded onto the scene in the '90s, and have since become the norm for drinking water.

Before you reach for a plastic single-use water bottle, consider the following:
  • 91% of all plastic produced is not recycled
  • By 2050, the ocean is expected to contain more plastic than fish (by weight)
  • 1 million single-use plastic bottles are sold every minute around the world
  • Bottled water costs 2,000 times more than tap water

You can help change that. Choose and champion alternatives like reusable bottles, hydration stations, or aluminum canned water. That's why Lonely Whale started the #HydrateLike campaign -- to encourage everyone reach for an alternative to the plastic water bottles that end up choking our ocean.

Will you join Lonely Whale and pledge to #HydrateLike future generations depend on it by refusing single-use plastic water bottles?
