Guarantee People With Invisible Disabilities Get Blue Badge Parking

There are millions of people in the UK who live with invisible disabilities. Currently, criteria for Blue Badge parking may overlook them, meaning that their mobility needs aren't given the same weight as someone with a more easily recognized physical disability. This has to change.

The government should immediately implement the criteria outlined in its recent consultation on the Blue Badge scheme and allow GPs and other healthcare professionals to assess the eligibility of every patient and guarantee those who need mobility access help are given it.
